6th Degree Black Belt
Mr. Tom Allemier is a 6th-degree black belt and certified instructor with the American Taekwondo Association who has been practicing and teaching martial arts for over 50 years. He moved to the DFW area in 1982 from Coldwater, Michigan. Master Allemier relocated in Rowlett in April of 1987, where he opened his own Martial Arts Academy in 1996. Master Allemier’s Black Belt Academy is considered one of the most successful and outstanding schools in the discipline and area that positively affects the life of students. While located in Rowlett, Master Allemier keeps traveling nationwide and abroad to compete at all levels of championships and to attend the highest levels of martial arts instruction.
Master Allemier was taught by his older brother, Grand Master Robert. S Allemier, the highest ranking American-born black belt in the American Taekwondo Association with direct training from Eternal Grand Master Haeng Ung Lee, the president and founder of the American Taekwondo Association. Master Allemier has been actively involved in the community of Rowlett, by supporting the Rowlett Chamber of Commerce and the Rowlett Needy Children’s Fund for food, clothing, school supplies, and most importantly directing and supporting the annual Christmas toy drive for needy kids in the Rowlett/Rockwall area.
Over the last 4 years, Master Allemier has taught over 30,000 students in the GISD, RISD, and LISD. He also participates in the Lake Pointe Church Summer Camp, “Kids Games” in order to educate in the fields of Bully Prevention and Safety Awareness.
Master Allemier’s philosophy in his academy, “every kid is a winner and every kid is special”, encourages positive mental attitude to set and fulfill high expectations. Through his teaching, Master Allemier instills life skills that last a lifetime and will benefit individuals in almost all everyday life situations. His objective is to educate students of all ages to become the future leaders of our society.
